I LOVE Assyrian weddings! Yelakhyata, Dola & Zorna, m'pulata d'chalo...there are so many fun rituals, wonderful music and traditional dances, and the gathering of so many family members and friends who come together to celebrate with the bride and groom.
We had so much fun filming all the day's events. It was non-stop starting with Belina and Chris getting ready, then off to get some gorgeous shots during their first look, and back to Belina's house for the traditional offering of the bride. So cool...the groom's family dances into the house accompanied by drums and flute, everyone dances, and then another ritual takes place where an offering is made for the bride...it's the only way to get her out of the house and to the church!
After the ceremony we went to another location for more FAB shots of Belina and Chris on some train tracks (Movie Stars!) and then to the reception that went late into the night.
This was one of my favorite edits because I had so much awesome footage!
Thank you Belina and Chris for having us be a part of your big day! We SO enjoyed every single moment!!

A Same Day Wedding Edit • Natasha and Daniel
Here's an SDE that we produced for Natasha and Daniel's Reception.
We filmed Natasha's sister Jessica's wedding in 2004, and it was so cool to see everyone again...siblings grown up, two beautiful boys and a girl on the way for Jessica!
Their Assyrian Wedding Ceremony took place at Crossline Community Church, and the Reception followed at The Island Hotel. Natasha's dress was AMAZING! And the reception included really wonderful toasts, belly dancers, lots of dancing, and the presentation of their SDE!
