Malika and Robert - The Fairmont Newport Beach

Malika and Robert's wedding celebrations spanned three days...and I don't think they ever stopped smiling for the entire time!

The Mendhi and Sangeet celebrations before the actual wedding day were so much fun to film. There was the traditional henna hand painting, and lots of music, dancing and singing at both events. The Sangeet and the wedding reception also included traditional dance performances, and two well-known singers from India, who with the band, had all the guests dancing the entire night.

Their wedding ceremony was held early in the morning at The Balboa Bay Club, and included the traditional arrival of the groom on a white horse. The reception later that evening at The Fairmont was fantastic...and included amazing lighting and decor, a separate room for desserts and tea, and dancing, dancing, dancing!!

Laura and Brad - The Montage Resort & Spa

It was such a beautiful day at The Montage for Laura and Brad's wedding. The light was just perfect for the entire day...the ocean was a dark blue behind them during their ceremony, and then we had an amazing sunset which gave us some really beautiful shots later in the day!

This was a destination wedding for the couple and their families, and most of their friends were from out of state as well. One of the many special moments during the day was when Laura's dad sang "Our House" by CSNY during his toast...the look on Laura's face was priceless!!

Here's a highlight montage from their production.

Nour and Amer - The Island Hotel Newport Beach

This couple's ceremony was held a few months ago at St. Regis (blog below), and their reception was a few months later where after being introduced with a Zaffa procession, they exchanged rings on the dance floor.

We had an awesome day with these guys and their families! Morning preparations...fun shots on Balboa Island...belly dancers...killer DJ and drummers...wonderful toasts...

This reception was SO much fun! Hardly anyone sat down the entire night, everyone was having too much fun on the dance floor!! Here's a highlight clip from their production.

HixMix Rocks The House!

The DJ at Nour and Amer's wedding in Newport Beach ROCKED THE HOUSE! The couple wanted a hip club feel for their reception, so with great lighting and this DJ...they got what they wanted!! It was a blast filming everyone dancing...it was hard keeping the camera steady as we wanted to get out there and dance as well!

Monica and Marc - Avalon Casino Catalina Island

Monica and Marc love to sail...Marc has been racing professionally for many years...OF COURSE they would have their wedding celebrations on an Island...and sail there as well!

Friends and family came from all over the world to celebrate with these two. The groomsmen were over-the-top FUN and everyone had an amazing time. One of the best moments was right after the vows and rings ceremony...there was silence for a few seconds as the officiant was getting ready to conclude the ceremony...and a boat horn went off...a perfect moment that gave everyone a laugh!

The lighting in the Casino, that Monica orchestrated, was truly stunning. The flowers, especially in the alter area, were gorgeous. And the band that played had EVERYONE dancing the entire night. It was a perfect destination wedding for these two, and we so enjoyed spending time with them and filming their day!

The Stellar Show Band

You have got to check out this band! They played at Monica and Marc's wedding on Catalina Island...and they ROCKED! The playlist included everything from Deep Purple to Dee Lite to Outcast to Beyonce...and pretty much everything in-between!!

As I've said before...if you're paying for a band...don't you want to HEAR the band on your wedding production??!! We always include the audio as it was performed and spend a great deal of time making sure it is recorded properly and mixed in post-production. We love bands who help us out with the audio feeds we need. Thanks Reggie and gang!

Brooke and Carlos - St. Regis Resort Monarch Beach

WOW...a weekend of celebrations including a beautiful ceremony on the Pacific Lawn, with musicians and singers, and a huge dove release! The morning started with both Brooke and Carlos getting ready with their family and friends...we were able to capture the moment when each of them had a special gift delivered to the other...Carlos is such a ROMANTIC!

Each part of the day had a different theme with awesome decor and lighting. The cocktail hour included a display of pumpkins with words carved into them..."LOVE, I DO, YES, WILL YOU MARRY ME"...this was how Carlos had proposed to Brooke!

The reception included the always fun Wayne Foster Band, a huge dance floor, a cute groom cake, an outdoor lounge set-up...and did I mention the KILLER lighting!!

Kara and Chris - Rancho Las Lomas

WE LOVE WHAT WE DO! It is always such an honor to be a part of our couple's day, and experience the joy and love that everyone shares...it's a constant theme in our blogs...all the special moments we see and capture...memories that will always be there and that can be re-lived.

These two and their bridal party ROCKED! Kara and the girls were totally relaxed and stress-free while getting ready at the hotel. Chris and the guys were the nervous ones! They were really working hard at getting their ties just right, their neck hair shaved(!), and writing that special something in a card to go along with the roses for Kara.

The ceremony was one of the cutest I've seen, with the officiant starting things off having Chris say "I Chris promise to take you Kara...fishing"! He went into the real declarations right after, but everyone had a laugh (Chris LOVES to fish) and it really helped both of them relax. Everyone in the family was mentioned during the ceremony...and when the officiant talked about Kara's grandmother, and told her to "call me later"...oh my gosh the smile on her face and the little wave that she gave to him...priceless.

Just some of the cool details throughout the day...a cigar roller, beautiful flowers and lighting, toasts and tears, one of the most beautiful locations around Orange County, wonderful friends, and a night of dancing that was TOO MUCH FUN!!

Eat Drink be Married!

Emily and Daniel - Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel

Fireworks over the Pacific Ocean...Wonderful Toasts...A Sunset Ceremony...In-n-Out Burgers...Splash (an awesome band)...Beautiful Lighting and Decor...what a celebration these two had!

Catherine and Gregory - Millennium Biltmore Hotel

Catherine and Greg's day had SO MANY special moments...it's hard to pick out just a few! The stories that were told as everyone was getting ready...especially the one about the great-grandmother's jewelry, really stand out. They were married in their church with one of the most beautiful and special homilies given from their priest and teacher. Then on to the Biltmore for a spectacular reception. There was a painter who created a piece of art during the event, a video montage, Catherine's mom sang a family favorite, a special Coors toast (!)...just so many awesome moments.

If I had to pick a favorite moment though, it would have to be Catherine's face when she and Greg were pronounced husband and wife! Her eyes and her smile just totally said it all...you'll see in the clip below!!

Andi and Matt - Park Privera

These two are such a sweet couple! The ceremony took place at their church, and the reception was at the Robert Mondavi Wine Center. We had such a great time with them and their bridal party...fun shots on the Newport Pier between events, and more beautiful shots at the vineyard.

The reception was outdoors, and the dance floor was surrounded by all the tables. Both sets of parents gave such wonderful toasts...it was a perfect night that ended with a sparkler exit by Andi and Matt!

Bride Preparations & The First Look

Here's a clip from Christine and Dave's production. It was so sweet when her dad saw her for the first time...and then more tears when she and Dave saw each other!

Christine and Dave - Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel

We had such a wonderful weekend with this couple, from filming their rehearsal dinner through all the wedding day events!

The rehearsal dinner was at the Salt Creek Grill and included really sweet toasts from their friends and Christine's dad. It was super casual and intimate...at the end of the night Christine gave all the girls Spa Bags which included a full spa treatment at the Ritz the next morning!

Roses Roses Roses!! This pretty well describes the decor throughout the whole day. As one groomsman put it "there's a lot of unhappy guys in Orange County this weekend...not a rose to be found anywhere". That's because they were all at the Ritz! The ceremony was beautiful and included a dove release at the end. We went to the beach for some fun shots and then to the reception where everyone had an awesome time eating and drinking...and dancing their shoes off (all the women were given special dancing slippers) to the Wayne Foster band. It was an incredible celebration!

Shannon and Eric - St. Regis Resort Monarch Beach

Rockin' out 80's style at St. Regis!! Shannon and Eric had an awesome 80's band play at their reception...what a blast! And even though Shannon had hurt her knee before the wedding, she didn't let it stop her from getting out on the dance floor.

After last minute getting ready shots, we were there to capture the moment when they first saw each other...oh my gosh...tears all around! And isn't that what it's all about...all these amazing moments we carry in our hearts and our memories for our entire lives!

Their ceremony was really special as all the guests heard how they met and how they felt about each other. Really sweet toasts during the reception filled in the rest of their story. The evening reception included a Photo Booth, a video montage, candy table, killer lighting, couches for lounging, and green flip-flops for the ladies...it was time to dance!!

Aimee and Jeff - Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel

This wedding was FABULOUS! A great group of family and friends, and a bridal party that ROCKED made for an awesome event. The entire day was filled with incredible details...the ceremony site and flowers were so colorful, there was a bagpiper to start and end the ceremony, and two flower girls who were complete angels!!

The reception room was transformed with a color pallet of greens, yellows, and blues...with awesome lighting and gobos on the walls, really unique centerpieces, a totally amazing cake (with mini cakes served to everyone), and at the end of the night guests were served milkshakes and cookies...how cool is that!!

USC Band at Dana and John's Reception

Here's a bit of the BAND! They were over-the-top AWESOME!!

Dana and John - Montage Resort & Spa

John, who lives in London, visited Southern CA and met Dana while she was a student at USC. After graduating, Dana moved to London...and shortly thereafter these two were engaged! The wedding was an amazing event, with friends and relatives who came from all over the world to celebrate with Dana and John.

There were so many special moments throughout the day...when Dana and John first saw each other, a fun photo session on the grass overlooking the ocean, the ceremony beneath floating orchids and crystals, time on the beach, Dana's dads toast which had everyone in tears (he is so proud of her!), the USC Band did a 10 minute performance, and a hot band for the rest of the evening had everyone showing their moves!!

3D Photo Montage

We created a 10 year photo/video retrospective for a family...including some really awesome animations and 3D effects. The final production was about two hours long...this is just a short sample. What's cool is the "look" of the photo part...which we can do for your photo montage as well!!

The Wayne Foster Band

I put this montage of images together because this band is so much fun! They really get EVERYONE dancing...young and old!!
We work with them quite often, and their audio guys are the best with making sure we get a good feed, so that the audio on your wedding production is straight from their audio board...mixed by me in my post-production phase. We always use the audio recorded at an event for our final productions. Hey...you paid for a band...don't you want to hear it on your video??!!

Katie and Andy - Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel

This opening highlight film from Katie and Andy's production incorporates the piece of art work that was painted on-site by a talented artist. It's always fun to watch the couple and the guests reactions as the art work is being painted during the event. At the end of the night Katie and Andy had a unique piece from their day to hang on their wall!

Nour and Amer - St. Regis Resort

Here are highlights from Nour and Amer's Engagement Celebration at Club 19. Their ceremony took place two days after Nour's sister Reem and Amer's brother Samer had their Wedding celebration. Two sisters and two brothers who found love...truly one beautiful story, and now one amazing family!

Reem and Samer - The Fairmont Hotel

This Wedding Celebration included the exchange of rings on the dance floor after the beginning Zaffa entrance. Earlier in the day we had lots of time to spend with the couple getting fun shots of when they first saw each other, and more of the family photo session. The reception was incredible with a series of lighting changes throughout the night, beautiful decor and an amazing dessert spread that spanned one whole wall of the venue!

A photo montage played throughout the night, and after the opening traditional dances, guests were treated to a 45 minute performance by numerous belly dancers. It really was a beautiful evening...and two days after their wedding...Reem's sister Nour would be engaged to Samer's brother Amer! A great story there that was shared again during the toasts.

FUN Photo Session

Ok...I had to put this up...it's the photo session coverage from Nicole and Dominic's wedding day. Nicole was a bridesmaid last year for a friend of mine (who is also a wedding photographer) and was the photographer for this wedding. Everyone knew each other...so the entire group had a blast at Balboa Park in San Diego.

Nicole and Dominic - San Diego

This was an awesome day with locations all around San Diego. Nicole and Dominic's ceremony took place in their local church, we then spent time with the bridal party at Balboa Park, and from there went to their reception at the Sheraton Hotel and Marina. These two met while Dominic was visiting from Germany...that visit turned into an engagement when he met Nicole!
The following clip is a highlight montage from their wedding day.
