Amita & Raja - Hyatt Huntington Beach, CA

So excited to share the highlights from Amita and Raja's gorgeous wedding! We were with them the entire day, and were able to capture EVERYTHING! It is a blast to have lots of time to set-up and get tons of great shots!!

Amita was stunning in her wedding Sari...such a beautiful Bride. Their Mandap was really pretty with all the traditional elements, and colors of lavender and eggplant which carried over to their reception decor.

Congratulations Amita and Raja! We LOVED filming your day!!

Arda & Harry - Taglyan Cultural Complex, Los Angeles CA

What a beautiful day and evening of dancing, tradition, and more dancing!

Both Arda and Harry started their day with family and friends arriving at their homes to start the day...helping them dress, and with dancing and celebration. After a traditional Greek Ceremony, the reception followed at the Taglyan. It is a beautiful venue, and when you have 300 or 400 guests who need room to dance...this is the place!

My favorite details and moments...of course Arda's STUNNING dress, the morning when the guys helped Harry get dressed, the decor and color palette at the reception, the toasts, the Father/Daughter dance, and the pure joy of everyone who was there to celebrate with Arda and Harry, and their families.

Diane & James - Vessels Ranch

First, I have to tell you if you are looking for a truly unique venue for an outdoor weddding...THIS IS THE PLACE! It's a racehorse breeding facility on 2200 acres, with mountains, lakes, pastures and stunning views. The owners were wonderful to work with. Kash Vessels (one of the owners) even drove us around at sunset to get some of my most favorite shots ever of a couple! We had horses and bulls, trees, a windmill and old barn structures...just totally cool locations to film with gorgeous backdrops.

Diane and James...what an awesome wedding! We had such a blast with you and your bridal party. I loved that we had so much time to get fun shots before the ceremony. Their dog Kenji preceded Diane down the aisle, and part of their ceremony included putting letters to each other, along with a bottle of wine, in a box that they then nailed shut. They will open the box on their 5th year anniversary, read their letters to each other, and toast to their marriage. Love it!

The reception included great BBQ and marshmellow toasting which everyone loved. The DJ had everyone (young and old) on the dance floor for the entire evening.

And if you haven't seen the clip "Just Because..." watch it!

You HAVE to check-out Tini Grey. He is a wonderful musician and a true artist at what he does. Everyone was blown away at the music he played and the songs he sang during the Ceremony and Cocktail Hour. You will be amazed...I promise! Just hope he's available for your day!!

Just Because...

I had to put this up in it's entirety! A short performance piece by two Groomsmen at Diane and Jimmy's wedding reception. You two are ROCKSTARS!!

Pani & Ronnie - The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel

Pani and Ronnie had a gorgeous sunset ceremony on the Ritz lawn, over-looking the ocean. The site included an elaborate Sofreh. Everything placed on it symbolizes the many qualities that a couple hopes to bring into their life together.

My favorites include a large mirror to bring light and brightness into the future, sugar cones which are rubbed together above the couple to bring happiness into their lives, and the honey they share at the end of the ceremony to ensure sweeetness in life.

The reception included a live band, and I think one of the largest fruit tables I have ever seen!

Diane & Pejman - Ritz Marina Del Rey

We had such a fun time with these two! After filming preparations we had lot's of time to get some great shots with the beautiful back-drop of the Ritz Marina Del Rey. The bridal party danced down the aisle, before the candle-lit ceremony under a georgeous Hupa began. The reception started right after, and the dancing went all night (and into the morning!) with a rockin' band! Beautiful flowers, an endless fruit table, pink and purple lighting setting the mood, it really was a dream wedding.

Ivy and Peter - Waterfront Beach Resort Wedding, Huntington Beach

Ivy and Peter were the winners of a $150,000 wedding contest! All of us that participated had so much fun with these two and their families. There were so many COOL details, including a ride on a fire engine after their ceremony...Peter is a Fire Fighter. I think one of my favorite memories was how throughout the entire day, they would just look at each other...amazed that this gift was happening to them, and with such love for each other. Here's a highlight film from their day.

A Same Day Wedding Edit • Natasha and Daniel

Here's an SDE that we produced for Natasha and Daniel's Reception.

We filmed Natasha's sister Jessica's wedding in 2004, and it was so cool to see everyone again...siblings grown up, two beautiful boys and a girl on the way for Jessica!

Their Assyrian Wedding Ceremony took place at Crossline Community Church, and the Reception followed at The Island Hotel. Natasha's dress was AMAZING! And the reception included really wonderful toasts, belly dancers, lots of dancing, and the presentation of their SDE!

Melody and Aaron - Private Residence Los Angeles

Melody and Aaron had a SPECTACULAR wedding! Her parent's home and backyard were transformed into a stunning backdrop for what was one of the coolest events we've filmed. So many favorite details and moments...the Bride's dress and her father looking in during the morning while she was getting ready...the Bridesmaids dresses and bouquets, Aaron and his guys doing a roll call of everyone and where they came from...the processional with everyone dancing down the aisle to different songs...the decor...the look of the event as it changed from day to night...I could go on and on!

The photographers and our crew just kept raving to each other how many great shots we were getting...we had so much FUN!!

And the toasts...each one of them were really special. I loved Melody's mom's toast where she talked about how beautiful all the bridesmaids dresses and bouquets were...like a rainbow...and that Melody was the rainbow of her life. How SWEET is that!?!

Shirin and Milaad - Balboa Bay Club & Resort Newport Beach

It was a perfect day at Balboa Bay Club for Shirin and Milaad's beautiful Wedding! After filming the morning preparations, we drove down the peninisula for a fun photo session with lots of colorful backdrops. I love this part of the day when we have time alone with the couple to capture some really wonderful moments before the ceremony begins.

They had a georgeous sofre, and the officiant performed the ceremony in both Farsi and English. The messages from Shirin and Milaad to each other, were so thoughtful and full of love.

The Reception started with a traditional Zaffa, and then a night of dancing with an awesome DJ accompinied by a few musicians who really ROCKED. If you look closely you might even see Bob Ortiz up on stage playing some drums!

Shirin and Milaad...it was such an honor to be a part of your day.
