Sarah and Joel - Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse

This was an incredibly fantastic wedding near Los Olivos. The location was in the mountains above the Santa Ynez Valley wine country. It's a totally private venue, with 150 acres of land surrounding the farmhouse and guest cabins. Sarah, Joel and their Bridal Party spent the weekend there preparing for the wedding.

They had told us it would be a bit hard to find, and after driving for a few miles on a one-lane dirt road, high in the mountains, I thought we were lost for sure! That's how secluded it is!! We had so much fun filming the entire day's events. The ceremony site was off in the grass surrounded by stunning vistas all around. They had hay bales placed for guests to sit on. I loved how one of the first things Sarah said when we arrived was that earlier that morning, when she looked out the window, there were deer eating her ceremony chairs!

After filming everyone getting ready, we got some awesome shots of the bridal party all around the site. The lighting was amazing. And after a really sweet ceremony, guests moved to the cocktail area and played horseshoe and lawn bowling. Just as Sarah and Joel began their first dance, a full moon was rising over the crest of the mountains in the background! Again, just one of the amazing moments we captured.

Thank you Sarah and Joel for including us as a part of your incredible day! We had a BLAST!!

Here's a highlight montage from their day.

Diane and Ben - The Beverly Hills Hotel

As Diane and Ben said..."It was the wedding of our dreams"!

We had filmed the incredibly beautiful wedding of Diane's sister Dana a few years ago (her highlight clip can be found under the listings for "Montage Resort"), and I remember thinking how in the world could Diane's wedding be as beautiful as her sister's. Well...it WAS just as beautiful, and in a totally unique way!

Some of my favorite moments of the day:
When they both saw each other for the first time...tears all around. The reaction of the guests when Diane and her father walked down the aisle...she looked so beautiful. The wonderful toasts by Dana and their father Ken...more tears all around! And the awesome performance by the USC band.

The details of the ballroom were stunning. The room was draped and included gorgeous florals, lighting, table settings, a sweets table...and check out the shots of their cake! The wedding cake was designed to look like Diane's dress, and the groom's cake looked like a Laker's basketball!

Here is a short highlight montage of their day.
