Wedding Highlights - Belina & Chris

I LOVE Assyrian weddings! Yelakhyata, Dola & Zorna, m'pulata d'chalo...there are so many fun rituals, wonderful music and traditional dances, and the gathering of so many family members and friends who come together to celebrate with the bride and groom.

We had so much fun filming all the day's events. It was non-stop starting with Belina and Chris getting ready, then off to get some gorgeous shots during their first look, and back to Belina's house for the traditional offering of the bride. So cool...the groom's family dances into the house accompanied by drums and flute, everyone dances, and then another ritual takes place where an offering is made for the bride...it's the only way to get her out of the house and to the church!

After the ceremony we went to another location for more FAB shots of Belina and Chris on some train tracks (Movie Stars!) and then to the reception that went late into the night.

This was one of my favorite edits because I had so much awesome footage!

Thank you Belina and Chris for having us be a part of your big day! We SO enjoyed every single moment!!

Candice & Joe - Rancho Las Lomas

These two met on a blind date, and as Candice's brother said during his toast, Joe had her at "Hello"!

This Highlight Montage includes a lot of sound-design, which I love to include in my edits. Espescially when there is such great audio from the ceremony and toasts!

There was a really great energy throughout the whole day, and we were honored to be a part of it.

Congratulations to Candice and Joe!

Amita & Raja - Hyatt Huntington Beach, CA

So excited to share the highlights from Amita and Raja's gorgeous wedding! We were with them the entire day, and were able to capture EVERYTHING! It is a blast to have lots of time to set-up and get tons of great shots!!

Amita was stunning in her wedding Sari...such a beautiful Bride. Their Mandap was really pretty with all the traditional elements, and colors of lavender and eggplant which carried over to their reception decor.

Congratulations Amita and Raja! We LOVED filming your day!!

Arda & Harry - Taglyan Cultural Complex, Los Angeles CA

What a beautiful day and evening of dancing, tradition, and more dancing!

Both Arda and Harry started their day with family and friends arriving at their homes to start the day...helping them dress, and with dancing and celebration. After a traditional Greek Ceremony, the reception followed at the Taglyan. It is a beautiful venue, and when you have 300 or 400 guests who need room to dance...this is the place!

My favorite details and moments...of course Arda's STUNNING dress, the morning when the guys helped Harry get dressed, the decor and color palette at the reception, the toasts, the Father/Daughter dance, and the pure joy of everyone who was there to celebrate with Arda and Harry, and their families.

Diane & James - Vessels Ranch

First, I have to tell you if you are looking for a truly unique venue for an outdoor weddding...THIS IS THE PLACE! It's a racehorse breeding facility on 2200 acres, with mountains, lakes, pastures and stunning views. The owners were wonderful to work with. Kash Vessels (one of the owners) even drove us around at sunset to get some of my most favorite shots ever of a couple! We had horses and bulls, trees, a windmill and old barn structures...just totally cool locations to film with gorgeous backdrops.

Diane and James...what an awesome wedding! We had such a blast with you and your bridal party. I loved that we had so much time to get fun shots before the ceremony. Their dog Kenji preceded Diane down the aisle, and part of their ceremony included putting letters to each other, along with a bottle of wine, in a box that they then nailed shut. They will open the box on their 5th year anniversary, read their letters to each other, and toast to their marriage. Love it!

The reception included great BBQ and marshmellow toasting which everyone loved. The DJ had everyone (young and old) on the dance floor for the entire evening.

And if you haven't seen the clip "Just Because..." watch it!

You HAVE to check-out Tini Grey. He is a wonderful musician and a true artist at what he does. Everyone was blown away at the music he played and the songs he sang during the Ceremony and Cocktail Hour. You will be amazed...I promise! Just hope he's available for your day!!
